Our History
Since 1810, First United Methodist Church has been a cornerstone of downtown Massillon. As the oldest congregation in the heart of our city, we carry a legacy of faith, meaningful worship, service, and community. But for us, history isn’t just about looking back—it’s a launching point for what God is calling us to do today.

In our third century, our purpose is clear: to be a beacon of light in Massillon. We celebrate our past while focusing on the ways we can make a real difference in the lives of our neighbors today.
